⏳ Within 72 hours of exposure? Zivoko delivers PEP across Lagos in 3 hours. Order on WhatsApp →
PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) is a short course of HIV medicine you take after a possible exposure to stop the virus taking hold. It has to start within 72 hours, and the sooner the better. In a city as large and traffic-heavy as Lagos, that 72-hour clock can slip away fast in transit and hospital queues. This guide shows you the fastest way to get PEP, who qualifies, and every other option open to you.
3-hour delivery, anywhere in Lagos
Order through Zivoko and your PEP is dispatched the moment payment clears, then delivered to your door within 3 hours, discreetly packaged, anywhere in Lagos. You need an HIV test before you start, unless you already know you are HIV-negative. We can add a rapid test kit to your order (sold separately, subject to availability). If a kit is not available where you are, do not delay: start PEP and test as soon as you can. No hospital queue, no counter, no explaining yourself.
How to order PEP from Zivoko in Lagos
The whole process happens on WhatsApp and takes minutes:
- Message us on WhatsApp and tell us briefly what happened, the type of exposure and roughly when. You do not have to share your name if you would rather not.
- Our team confirms you are eligible for PEP and answers any questions, without judgement.
- You pay securely, and your order is processed straight away.
- Your PEP arrives within 3 hours in plain, discreet packaging, and you start your 28-day course right away. You need an HIV test before you start, unless you already know you are negative: we can add a rapid test kit to your order (sold separately, subject to availability), but never delay PEP to test.
We deliver same-day across the whole city, from Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Lekki to Ikeja, Yaba, Surulere, Ajah, Festac, Apapa, Oshodi, Gbagada, Maryland, Magodo, Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe and the mainland suburbs. Wherever you are in Lagos, it reaches you fast and confidentially.
Are you eligible for PEP?
To make sure PEP is used properly and safely, we deliver it only to people who genuinely need it. You are eligible if:
- You have had a possible HIV exposure in the last 72 hours, such as unprotected sex, a condom breakage, sexual assault, or contact with blood that may be infected.
- You are currently HIV-negative, or you have never tested positive.
- You understand that PEP has to be taken every day for 28 days to work.
If you are not sure whether your situation qualifies, message us anyway. Our team will talk it through with you honestly and tell you whether PEP is the right step. You can also use our HIV risk checker to assess your exposure in a couple of minutes.
PEP delivery to Yaba, Lekki, Festac, Ikeja, Ikoyi and Surulere
Wherever you are in Lagos, the same 3-hour delivery promise applies. Here is what that looks like in the areas we are asked about most:
PEP in Yaba
Close to UNILAG and a dense student population. We reach Yaba within 3 hours, often faster outside peak traffic.
PEP in Lekki
From Lekki Phase 1 through to Ajah, delivery runs on the same 3-hour promise as the rest of the island.
PEP in Festac
We deliver to Festac Town and the surrounding mainland suburbs within 3 hours of your order.
PEP in Ikeja
Lagos’s mainland commercial hub. We reach Ikeja and GRA within 3 hours, dispatched as soon as your order is confirmed.
PEP in Ikoyi
Same 3-hour delivery promise as the rest of the island, with discreet handling throughout.
PEP in Surulere
A central mainland location we reach quickly, within the same 3-hour window.
Where else you can get PEP in the city
Zivoko is the fastest and most private route, but you should know the full picture. Here are the other places PEP is available in Lagos.
Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba
LUTH is one of the major PEP access points in Lagos and has an established HIV clinic. PEP is available and largely subsidised under the federal HIV programme. The catch is that getting through LUTH usually means waiting at the accident and emergency unit or the HIV clinic, filling out forms, and going through clinical assessment before medication is dispensed. That can take several hours.
If cost is your main concern and you have time inside your 72-hour window, LUTH is a solid option. If speed and privacy matter more, Zivoko is faster.
Lagos State General Hospitals
Several Lagos State General Hospitals offer HIV testing and some offer PEP through their HIV units, including General Hospital Marina, General Hospital Gbagada, and General Hospital Isolo. Availability varies and stock-outs have been reported at some facilities. Call ahead to confirm PEP is in stock before travelling.
Private hospitals and clinics
Some private hospitals and sexual health clinics across Lagos stock PEP, but availability varies widely by facility, and pricing tends to be higher than through Zivoko. Call ahead to confirm stock before travelling. Do not assume it is available.
Follow-up testing across the city
After you finish your 28-day course, you will need HIV testing at 4 to 6 weeks and again at 3 months from the original exposure. Testing is available at private laboratories across Lagos, including Lancet Laboratories and PathCare Nigeria, both with multiple branches. Our team can point you to the nearest suitable testing facility for your location.
If your circumstances make HIV exposure a recurring risk, ask us about moving to PrEP after your course. We can support that transition smoothly at the point of your follow-up test.
PEP in Lagos
Can I get PEP in Lagos today?
Yes. Zivoko delivers PEP across Lagos within 3 hours of your order, dispatched the moment payment clears, so you can start the same day. LUTH and the Lagos State General Hospitals also offer PEP, though hospital queues and Lagos traffic can cost you hours. Whichever route starts your first dose soonest is the right one.
Can I get PEP after a condom broke in Lagos?
Yes, a condom breakage with a partner whose status you do not know is one of the most common and valid reasons to start PEP. If it happened in the last 72 hours, treat it as urgent and message us, or use our HIV risk checker first if you want to assess the risk.
What happens if I start PEP after 72 hours?
PEP is very unlikely to work once more than 72 hours have passed, because the virus may already have established itself. It is no longer the recommended option at that point. If you are past the window, contact us anyway and we will talk you through HIV testing and, where appropriate, ongoing prevention with PrEP.
Can students get PEP in Lagos?
Yes. Students and young people are among the people we support most often, and there is no age barrier to needing PEP. The process is private, the packaging is plain, and you do not have to share your name. We deliver across the whole city, including the university and campus areas.
