PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) is a short course of HIV medicine taken after a possible exposure, such as unprotected sex, a condom breakage, sexual assault, or contact with blood that may be infected. It has to start within 72 hours of the exposure, and the sooner the better. Wherever you are in Nigeria, that window is the same, which is why fast, reliable access matters more than which state you live in.
Zivoko delivers PEP nationwide, to every state and the FCT. You need an HIV test before you start, unless you already know you are negative, and we can add a rapid test kit to your order (sold separately, subject to availability). Below is delivery speed, a full state-by-state directory, and answers to the questions people ask most.
How fast PEP reaches you
Delivery speed depends on where you are, and we are upfront about the difference rather than promising the same number everywhere.
Within hours, in our 13 hub cities
Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Jos, Benin City, Asaba, Warri, Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri and Port Harcourt get PEP within hours of your order being confirmed. In Abuja that is usually within 3 hours, and in Lagos and Abuja we deliver at night too.
Fast delivery everywhere else
In every other town, we deliver fast, within 24 hours at the latest. We confirm the exact timing for your location before dispatch. Check your area.
If you are close to the 72-hour limit, message us straight away so we can prioritise your order, and see the public hospital options on your state’s page in case one is closer.
